Travis Donohue
Travis brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from his over 22 years with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) including:
- Senior Program Advisor
- Carrier Safety Rating Administrator
- Senior Facility Audit Administrator
- MTO Auditor
- Transportation Enforcement Officer
During his time with the MTO, Travis worked in both the commercial vehicle enforcement program, as well as the Carrier Sanctions and Investigations Office. Travis has extensive experience monitoring Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration (CVOR) safety performance and held roles where he was responsible for:
- Managing CVOR Safety Ratings, including application and dispute resolutions.
- Reviewing and critiquing carrier safety action plans.
- Monitoring carrier safety performance.
- Conducting CVOR sanction analysis and implementation of sanction proceedings.
- Conducting carrier interviews.
- Initiating and managing MTO Facility Audits.
Travis was certified as a Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) inspector and served as a training/coach officer for both MTO and police officers. Over his years with the Ministry, Travis performed thousands of Level I to Level V inspections on trucks and buses, and conducted hundreds of facility audits on wide range of carriers.
Travis was a recipient of the Peace Officer Exemplary Service Medal.
