SCOTT Parker

Scott brings a great deal of experience and knowledge with over 30 years of policing experience specializing in criminal investigation, traffic investigation and commercial vehicle enforcement. Scott served in the following areas:

  • Coordinator – Transportation of Goods Section, Ontario Provincial Police, province wide commercial vehicle enforcement, dangerous goods enforcement and anti-smuggling enforcement programs.
  • Team Leader - Traffic Investigation and Management, case management of serious injury and fatal motor vehicle collision investigations.
  • Former member of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods General Policy Advisory Committee (Transport Canada).
  • Former Director of Communications, Ontario Police Commercial Vehicle Committee (OACP).
  • Former Chair Ontario Police Tow Working Group (OACP).
  • Ontario Pipeline – Convoy Program Coordinator.


During his career, Scott was certified as a Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) Inspector and Dangerous Goods Inspector. Scott has preformed hundreds of level I to V inspections on trucks, many of which involved collisions and wheel separations. Scott was also qualified as a technical traffic collision investigator and has vast experience with forensic mapping, evidence collection / interpretation and crash data retrieval. 


Scott has many years of experience in criminal investigation and completed the following training:

  • Major Case Management
  • Criminal Investigation Techniques
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Incident Management Systems


Scott was qualified as a Pipeline / Convoy Program Instructor (R.C.M.P.) and Drug Interdiction Assistance Program instructor (US DOT). 


Scott also served in the Canadian Forces as an officer in the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps. In that capacity Scott was employed as an armour reconnaissance officer and unit transport officer.
