Bud Kneller
Bud’s experience and knowledge comes from his over 18 years with the MTO while holding the following positions:
- Assistant to Head of Enforcement Training and Development
- Transportation Enforcement Officer
Bud was certified as a CVSA inspector in 1998 and since has conducted thousands of Level I to V inspections on trucks and buses. In addition, Bud has experience with the MTO Facility Audit Program.
In 2014, Bud was the winner of the Ontario National Safety Code Challenge and represented Ontario in Pittsburgh at the North American Inspectors Championship.
Bud’s knowledge and experience has further been enhanced through his training and instructor experience in the following areas:
- Certified CVSA Part A (driver & hours of service) and B (vehicle) Provincial Instructor since 2002
- Provincial MTO Bus Inspection Tracking System (BITS)/School Bus Inspection Instructor since 2005
- Provincial Impound Instructor since 2002
- MTO Basic Training Instructor for Cargo Securement since 2010
- Ontario representative at the North American Cargo Securement Harmonization Forum since 2014
